You commented ALLOW — here's everything from the video.
Coucou is a free, open source Mac app (with an iPhone companion) that shows Claude Code's permission requests and questions on your iPhone Lock Screen.
Set it up
- Install it on your Mac
Download Coucou.zip from the GitHub releases (macOS 15+), move it to Applications and open it.
- Install the Claude Code hooks
In Settings, click Install hooks. Coucou backs up ~/.claude/settings.json and shows you the diff before writing anything.
- Get the iPhone app
Install TestFlight, then join the free Coucou beta (link in the README). iOS 18+.
- Turn on the iPhone link
Mac app: Settings → General → iPhone. Use the same Apple Account in iCloud on both devices. No account, no pairing code.
Good to know
- Open source (MIT) for the code, over 5,000 GitHub stars.
- The iPhone app is a TestFlight beta for now; the App Store version is coming soon.
- Allow needs Face ID, and your Mac only applies a decision for the exact request it is waiting on.
