Flick: the free Claude Code skill that animates your video
You commented FLICK — here's everything from the video.
Flick is a free, MIT-licensed Claude Code skill. Give it a video, link or transcript; it plans the scenes, builds each as a Remotion animation and opens them in Remotion Studio for your review.
Set it up
- Add the plugin
Run these two lines in Claude Code.
/plugin marketplace add Creatorberry/flick /plugin install flick@flick - Run it
Then start Flick. It asks for your aspect ratio, brand assets and your opinion before it plans.
/flick - Review each scene
Flick renders every scene and opens it in Remotion Studio. Tell it what to change; it revises only that scene.
- Other agents
For Codex and other agent CLIs.
npx skills add Creatorberry/flick --skill flick --global
Good to know
- First run installs Remotion, FFmpeg, Whisper and yt-dlp locally; it needs Node.js 20+ and Python 3.
- There is no background music; sound effects are added only where they match an on-screen action.
- MIT licensed. Facts are from the README on 12 October 2026.
